I joined the BA in 2012 after completing my 1st basketry course with John Waller. I have since completed more courses with both John and Alan Sage.

I make a variety of baskets ranging from small round “stake and strand” to squares in a naturalistic style. I run Adults workshops: round baskets/ oval baskets and willow & paper Dr Seuss lanterns.

I have also undertaken commissions for demonstrating, in 2017 at the London Craft Week for Egg Brands LtD at St James Market Pavillion and also for the Forestry Commission at my local Jeskyns Community Woodland in Kent. I also create a variety of fun designs for the garden getting adults & children involved using the 5 rod weave of the “corn-dolly” to create dragonflies, bells and flowers. I also cater for the very young, creating fairy wands and stars for them to decorate.

This year I have created a 2hr basket project, for the complete novice to “have-a-go” to make a small open-ended flower/foragers basket.
