Helen Munday

Helen is an artist basketmaker, creating contemporary baskets with traditional technique's. 

Her connection with the land and nature is integral to her work. She has a harmonious relationship with her materials embracing their circular attributes with growing and harvesting her own willows.

The diversity of textures and colours utilized in Helen's works give a sense of depth as well as strength, often incorporating found natural treasures which deliver strong sensory qualities.

Helen graduated with a first class BA (hons) in Contemporary Design Crafts at Hereford College of Arts in 2022.
