Nicola Basham

I have been making baskets and caskets in NZ for 13 years now.  I have my own withy, growing Green Dicks, Red Flanders and Noir de Villaines in Golden Bay, NZ and I run basketry courses in willow and cane.  I particularly enjoy make baskets with driftwood and antlers.

I learned basketry from masters in the UK, Wales, Denmark and America.

I run a contemporary weaving event called Go Wild With Weaving, and we are planning to host our 9th “all welcome” event in April 2022.
