I started as a full time apprentice in 1985 with Wilwood Products in Brighton. When this company closed down in 1992. I started up on my own and have been running my own bespoke basket business ever since. I am one of the only basket makers I know that have trained in the traditional way. An apprenticeship then moving on to peace work. You have to get fast enough to get off of the apprenticeship. 

I have made picnic hamper baskets for all NATO leaders on their 70th Anniversary in London. These were for all the 28 different Countries Prime Ministers and Presidents.

I have made bespoke items for feature Films, Theatre and TV - Sky, BBC, ITV & Channel 4 etc.
