I was introduced to basket making at junior school in the 1970's. Using center cane to make table baskets I became interested in the craft. But I didn't start making baskets again until many years later. After my children grew up and left home I took up basket making as a hobby using both willow and cane. I have been basket weaving now of a couple of years, beginning with just basic baskets making them for family and friends. I now  make a wider range of basket using cane and willow, from my home in Dudley West Midlands.  I sell my baskets on Facebook  and Etsy.
