Angela Cross

Very much a novice, but ever increasing my knowledge! I am currently undertaking the City& Guilds Level 3 basketry course at the lovely Westhope College in Shropshire. My love of basket making was inspired by the craft of turning sticks and twigs into objects of both beauty and practicality. I was struggling to see a purpose in life other than the usual eat, sleep, work… repeat and then I had the most amazing time learning to make a hedgerow basket with the wonderful Louise Arthur and from then on, I was smitten! 

I hope at some point to have the confidence to share my knowledge with other people but, for now, I am content to learn from the experts.
