Standford Road, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 Biography

I learned basket weaving from my mum, whose hands first showed me the rhythm and patience of the craft. Since then, weaving has become a way for me to stay grounded — working with natural materials, connecting with the land, and finding presence in the quiet, repetitive motion.

For me, basket weaving isn’t just about making something useful — it’s about slowing down, working with intention, and building a relationship with nature through our hands.

As a teacher, I hope to share that connection. My aim is to guide others in discovering the calm, focus, and creativity that this practice can bring — and to spark a renewed appreciation for working with the natural world.
