Carrie Edmonds1 meadowside, the street, Sedlescombe, East Sussex, tn33 0qj Biography
I have worked in forestry and countryside management scince leaving school, and it was through my job as a countryside ranger for a local authority that I found a love of weaving.
I have taught myself through books, (thank you Mary Butcher!) classes and just good old fashioned practice, and watching other people weave.
I am curently focusing on traditional basketmaking, and mostly roundwork oval and have given squarework a go to.
I sell my baskets through my Etsy shop and at a local farmers market, and I would like to continue to grow this over the next couple of years.
I have run a couple of workshops in the past making garden supports, and really enjoyed teaching others the skills I have learnt, and I am looking for venues to do more teaching and hopefully gain some qualifications in teaching.Interests
