Jilly Greig

2/5, Glanville Place, EDINBURGH, Midlothian, EH3 6SZ Biography

Started learning basket weaving with Anna Liebmann in August 2021, I was hooked! Since then I have learned more skills with Anna, and Anna Turnbull, Eddie Glew, Hanna Van Aelst, Pen Wilson and Alisha Davidson. I completed my basketry City and Guilds Level 2 at Westhope College, Shropshire in June 2023.

An enthusiastic member of PACC basketry classes held at the Poldrate Arts and Crafts Centre in Haddington, East Lothian, learning with past tutors Pen Wilson of Stow, Katie Warner of Edinburgh and Sandra Scholles of Edinburgh.

I teach willow basket workshops, plant supports and bird feeder workshops as well as one to one or one to two tuition. I love teaching, and if there is anything in particular you would like to make just ask. I also do corporate day workshops for businesses and will talk at womens institutes etc.

Member of The Basketmakers' Association, Heritage Crafts and The Scottish Basket Makers' Circle.
