Joe Gregory

Hi my name is Joe Gregory, I'm a willow basket maker and sculptor based in West Yorkshire. I started weaving as a hobby alongside my work with Workers Education Association and my Forest Schools work in 2004 by 2008 I was being asked to teach adults and children taster sessions.

My love of the craft spurred me on to keep developing my skills. From humble beginnings I've created the most rewarding career.

I've been taught by some of the best weavers in Europe and I have also had the opportunity to teach nationally and internationally. I've worked on some incredible projects with some great organizations and I've been able to teach people of all ages and abilities from all walks of life during my career.

I now mostly work from my own studio in Yorkshire creating unique baskets and sculpture. I still regularly teach there and for a small number of organizations around the UK.
