Melissa Daniel

Melissa completed her degree in Three Dimensional Design from Manchester Metropolitain University in 2020.

She started 'MAD Sustainable Design' the following year. She tinkers in a myriad of crafts but mainly creates sculptures and workshops with hedgerow materials and harvests their willow from various local gardens and communities in Manchester and Wales. Also, they combine their fibre crafts with raw, unfired clay and cob, experimenting with pigments.

Growing up as the child of a Herbalist, they have been connected to and creating artworks with wild materials for since a young age.
