Mollie McMillen

Mollie established the Field Farm Project 12 years ago as an Outdoor Learning Centre delivering courses and experiences including Outdoor Living Skills, Rural Crafts, Horticulture, Farming and Field Studies.  Over the years the emphasis has become more and more focused on basketry and weaving and now Mollie has a studio where she makes all manner of willow baskets, coffins and lampshades.  She also works with locally foraged, hand processed plant fibres and tree barks producing art baskets and weaves which are showcased through a sister company McMillen Art.

Mollie teaches numerous courses through out the year, undertakes repair work, plants living willow structures, makes coffins for bereaved families and collaborates with designers and individuals on commissioned projects.
