GROFTY, DOLDOWLOD, Llandrindod Wells, Powys, LD1 6HD BiographyI've been working with willow for 18 years, weaving and growing it for my own use and selling it to other makers. More recently taking on the lease of a 70 acre farm, Groffty Willow Farm, primarily to grow willow for craft. By 2025 the farm will have 30 acres of willow growing for the craft Market. I have a workshop in Llandrindod Wells and I supply to a few shops and galleries. I run weaving workshops and can help with growing and harvesting advice on small and large scale plantations. I weave willow coffins primarily and accept commissions as well as selling my makes online. More recently I've been seating in rush cord and seagrass and have also begun to use other grasses in my weaving . I have a real passion for willow in fact for all types of woodland crafts.
