Rachel Kirk

After 16 years working as a gardener doing battle with the elements, I was looking for a change. I enjoy working with natural materials and fell in love with willow weaving. I learnt the basics of sculpture with Karen at Naturally Useful and I go to a basketry class at the Poldrate Arts and Crafts Centre in Haddington, where I'm taught by Pen Wilson. I create willow baskets, animal sculptures, and other eco-friendly items for the house and garden.
