Rainy Williamson

Rainy Williamson runs Cherry Tree Flower Farm in Ainsworth, on the border of Bury and Bolton, about 10 miles north of Manchester, where she grows cut flowers  and willow and runs seasonal craft based workshops.

Rainy has been growing and using willow since 2005, creating items for sale via markets and her website and to use use for demonstration in workshops. She sells cuttings of some of her willow varieties, along with woven living willow designs and is authorised by APHA to issue plant passports. The majority of her willow work is in creating sustainable mechanics for florists on a wholesale basis.

With over 30 years teaching experience, Rainy offers a variety of natural craft based workshops throughout the UK.

When not outside with willow or flowers, Rainy can usually be found knitting, coffee by her side. She kept sheep for 10 years whose fleece she used for hand spinning.
