Making baskets and sculptures in willow is my absolute passion.  Woven willow can transform our outer landscape with beautiful, functional objects and inspirational sculptures.

Since 2006 when I first began sculpting, and more recently as I’m learning and exploring basketry, willow has taken me on an incredible journey.

Commissioning: I am available to work on commission. My particular interest is in unusual willow commissions that involve sculpting floral forms, commissions that combine basket making and sculptural elements and those involving architectural lighting.

Teaching: I’m known for teaching Willow Animal Sculpture Days on the Somerset Levels and throughout South West England. I’m also available to teach other willow courses. These can either be 1 to 1 tuition or bespoke courses for 5 to 12 people (depending on the type of sculpting or basket making course required). Please contact me to discuss your requirements.

Research: I’m also interested in being involved with research projects and education initiatives both in the UK and Europe that seek to champion our craft heritage, explore the impact of willow weaving in creative and therapeutical wellbeing services and address creating a sustainable future.
