Sarah Simonds

I started my journey with knotting with jute from a very young age at Forest school and love working with free weaving techniques using natural fibres and natural dyes, most of which are extracted from plants in my garden.  I’m continuing my creative journey with contemporary basketry creating organic shapes and forms in my garden studio. 

I’ve experienced a lot of interest in my work and my pieces have appeared in many interiors around the world. My work has been used in commercial locations, also for T.V set design and more recently for film work.
