Worshipful Company of Basketmakers Basketry Showcase 2026

The Worshipful Co of Basketmakers invites all members of the BA, friends, family and colleagues to their 2026 Basketry Showcase in the City of London on Tuesday 3 March 2026.

The BA will be displaying our “Big Weave” baskets*, created by members last year to celebrate our 50^th anniversary.  If you missed seeing these at last June’s BA Summer Meeting, here is your chance!

This event is taking place in The Dutch Church, 7 Austin Friars, London EC2N 2HA on Tuesday 3 March 2026, and is open to the public from 2pm – 4pm.

Rae Gillott (BA President), Angela Coates (BA Chair) and Louise Brown (past-Chair) will be representing the BA – we hope to see you!

*The Big Weave baskets will be available for purchase.  Iif you were involved in making a basket and do not wish that basket to be sold, please contact Rae Gillott – [email protected] before 3 March 2026.
