One Day Frame Basketmaking Workshop

This is another great opportunity to spend a day at the wonderful Makers’ Barn in West Sussex, on the outskirts of Petworth. On this one day basketmaking workshop you will be making a frame basket.

You will be shown how to attach hoops together and add the ribs to create your own frame basket using willow. There will be a selection of willow varieties so you can be creative with colour, and learn some of the different properties of the various willows.

During the day you will also be shown how to make hoops with and without a forma, have a try yourself, and you will be able to take these home with you.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners.
