Contemporary Asymmetric Foraging Basket with Clare Shilvock

Discover the perfect blend of traditional basket making techniques and contemporary design in this creative, full-day, willow basket weaving workshop (9:30am – 5:00pm). Whether you’re a beginner or have some stake-and-strand basket making experience, you’ll learn to create a beautiful, round willow basket using colourful, natural willows, topped with a contemporary asymmetric border – a finish designed by Stanislaw Dziubak. Tuition, use of tools and all willow material is included. Feel free to bring your own piece of twisted hazel, driftwood or special wood to incorporate as a funky handle for a truly personal touch!
