A wonderful opportunity to work with one of France’s finest traditional basketmakers. Marguerite taught at Tear Up festival in 2024, has exhibited her beautiful openwork in Catalonia and has collaborated with artist Andrea Sparta. On this two day course you will learn to make a flat round base woven with French randing, then to create the curved and asymmetric shape from this round base. To hang it on the wall, we will make a 1 rod handle.
Cost £280, Level: Suitable for beginners with some basketry experience, 8 students, 9.30am -4.30pm
