2 Day Round Willow Basket Workshop Thursday 28th & Friday 29th November

Over 2 days you will create a round stake-and-strand basket, this will be either a decent size willow shopper or a medium log basket. Methods and techniques will include a tied slath base, English rand weave and a traditional Somerset handle.  You will also learn how to grow, harvest and prepare your willow ready for weaving. 9.30am – 5.30pm (approx). Cost £175.  This includes all materials and refreshments. Tools provided.  Lunch available at an additional £12.50 cost.  Maximum 6 participants per day.

Teaching all my Willow Day Workshops at a lovely venue in mid Devon, I have teamed up with the nearby Lost Kitchen restaurant (www.lostkitchen.co.uk) to offer you a delicious lunch too! Workshop held at Chevithorne Village Hall, Chevithorne, Tiverton, Devon EX16 7PU.  (15 minutes from Junction 27 of M5).
