2 Day Round Willow Basket Workshop Wednesday 17th & Thursday 18th July

Over 2 days you will create a round stake-and-strand basket, this will be either a decent size willow shopper or a medium log basket. Methods and techniques will include a tied slath base, English rand weave and a traditional Somerset handle. You will also learn how to grow, harvest and prepare your willow ready for weaving. 9.30am – 5.30pm (approx). Cost £175. This includes all materials and refreshments. Tools provided. Lunch available at an additional £12.50 cost. Maximum 8 participants per day.
