Anne Mette Hjørnholm – Willow baskets Weekend Course – August 2nd-3rd 2025

Anne Mette is a very skilled and well known basketmaker from Denmark. She designs baskets and experiments with willow and other natural materials. On this weekend course you can expect to make one basket. The options are trays of different varieties randomly woven, different systems (framebasket style), shopping baskets etc. or burkina bags. The last option is for weavers with some experience.
The class size is limited to 6 to allow for maximum attention and guidance for each student. Materials charged per item made. Fee includes tuition for 2 days from August 2nd & 3rd, times 9.30-5pm each day, as well as a lovely homemade vegetarian lunch and all refreshments.

Please note this is a daytime course only. If you wish to stay over at Bryn a Môr you will need to book through Pitchup for camping or a Shepherds hut, depending on availability. You will also need to self cater your other meals.
