BA Autumn School 2024 – Modular Coiling

Modular coiling

Modular coiling is making several individual coiled elements and then joining them together to form a larger piece. You will learn how to start coiling, how to shape the individual elements, and how to join them and add a border if required.

Coiling is a slow technique. In a weekend you will hopefully have time to make two or three small elements and join them together, but you will probably not have time to complete a finished piece.  Please note that you will be working on a small scale – don’t forget your reading glasses if you need them!

Suitability: All levels.
