These baskets are inspired by the work of Polish basketmaker, Stanislaw Dziubak, and have developed over time from experimenting with scale and colour.
Learn how to weave on a large scale with fine home-grown willows adding coloured rods to create a painterly finish. The finished pieces can measure roughly 50cm wide at the base x 55-60cm tall. Learn how to tie in a slath using scalloms, chase pairing, 4 rod pull down wale, 4 rod wale, double French rand or French slew , asymmetric border with 40-50 side stakes and a double or triple handle bow.
Suitability: Intermediate and advanced basketmakers (not suitable for beginners)
Cost of materials: £25 per basket
