BA Spring School 2024: Rush baskets – an exploration of shape and weave

This course is an opportunity to experiment with the array of lovely weaves in rush work and enjoy working with some soft, fragrant rushes harvested in Somerset during July 2023.
The students will begin with some weave samples to get a good grounding in the different weaves and textures and then move on to weaving their bag of choice. Jane will guide students through the design and advise on achieving the desired shape and effect they want.
Suitability: Flexible techniques available for beginners and those more advanced.
