Iden Lock, Iden, Rye, UK

This is a two day class. Day One is 27th April, Day Two is 28th April or can be arranged for Saturday 3rd May if you can’t come on the Monday. The coracles are started with the willow rods stuck in the ground so you will be working outside whatever the weather on the first day at least. On the first day we will complete most of the frame. On the second day you will finish tying the frame and cover it in calico. The calico is then painted with Bitumistic Paint. You will have the option of taking the paint home to do this or painting it and collecting another day when the paint has dried. Depending on the weather, there will be an opportunity to have a go in the river in our previously made coracles. Lunch included

Maximum four places. You are welcome to bring a friend or partner to help
