Eddie Glew 1st– 3rd October 3-day willow chair making.
Eddie Glew is coming to Devon on October 1st to 3rd to run a three-day chair making course for Basketmakers South West. (If you are not a member there may be spaces available for non-members)
On Eddie’s course you will learn all the skills necessary to make your own willow adults or children’s chair, including techniques such as fitching, plait borders, latticing, oval or round basses and many more tips and tricks.
This course is suitable for people with basketmaking experience and have enough physical strength to work with large willow.
The course will be held at the North Tawton Rugby Club, Taw Meadow, Fore St, North Tawton EX20 2ED, where there is ample free parking.
