Tim Johnson and Monica Guilera workshops

~ A taste of the Mediterranean in Northumberland ~

A wonderful opportunity to work with these internationally acclaimed basket makers.

Both workshops are suitable for beginners and those with some experience. Numbers are limited and a few places are still available on both workshops, so please get in touch with Anna Corbett if you are interested.

Please note the two workshops are running at the same time, so you can only attend one of them!

After his very successful visit last summer, Tim has agreed to return and this time he will be accompanied by Monica Guilera, a very accomplished basket maker and teacher who specialises in traditional Catalan techniques. Together they run Weaving by the Sea in Vilanova, near Barcelona, Spain. This visit will be a tremendous opportunity to take advantage of their skills closer to home. Tim will be teaching braid and stitch technique, working with rush; Monica will teach Nansa fish trap baskets, working with willow.
