Weave Away Basketry Camp – Helen Munday’s woven chair

Helen Munday is an innovative award winning basketmaker creating unique and functional contemporary and traditional baskets, as well as furniture, and has been featured in The Times. She has been working with a blacksmith to design a new chair frame for you to make your own functional and beautiful seat, inspired by 1960’s wicker bucket chairs. The frame has been designed and made by Helen especially for this course.
PLEASE NOTE: this workshop is not suitable for beginners, as it requires strength and dexterity, particularly in the hands.
