Join us for a creative and hands-on two-day journey into the world of willow weaving, where you’ll craft your very own stylish and functional willow backpack! Specially designed for beginners but engaging for those with some basketmaking experience, this workshop will guide you step-by-step through the art of basket weaving.
What You’ll Learn:
- Day One: You’ll start by crafting the base and structure, then begin the side weave, building a solid foundation for your backpack.
- Day Two: Complete the weaving, create a beautiful border, and add finishing touches with a sturdy handle and comfortable straps.
Perfect for anyone who enjoys working with their hands, this project requires some hand strength and focus – ideal for those who love a satisfying, hands-on challenge.
All materials and tools are provided. By the end, you’ll walk away with a handmade, one-of-a-kind willow backpack and newfound weaving skills!
