Berry or Round Willow Basket Workshop Day

Spend a day making a willow basket with me. If you are a total beginner, then ideally you will be making a little berry basket which is great for foraging or a lovely children’s basket for Easter. If you have woven before or are quite crafty, you may want to do the round basket, which is great for fruit, socks, eggs or whatever you fancy!

Learn how to make round willow basket bases, add in the uprights, then weave the sides and lay down a border. The berry basket also has a simple bow handle, which is pegged to prevent it from slipping out. On the round basket you will learn how to do two different weaves and lay down a rod border which is slightly more advanced than the berry trac border.

Willow, use of tools, light refreshments and tuition all included in the price of £90 per person.
