2 Day Traditional English Basket Willow Day Workshop 6th / 7th October

Using Somerset willow, over 2 days you will create an English stake-and-strand basket, this will be either a decent size willow shopper or a medium log basket.  Methods and techniques will include an underfoot tied slath base, English randing and a traditional Somerset handle.

9.30am – 5.30pm (approx). Cost £175.  This includes all materials and refreshments. Tools provided.  Lunch available at an additional cost from the Lost Kitchen.  Maximum 8 participants per day.

From September onward I am teaming up with the amazing Lost Kitchen (www.lostkitchen.co.uk) and will be teaching all my Willow Day Workshops at a great new venue in Devon. Workshop held at Chevithorne Village Hall, (The Lost Kitchen), Chevithorne, Tiverton, Devon EX16 7PU. . (15 minutes from Junction 27 of M5).
