Log basket course

Make a log basket to sit next to your fireside in the winter months
To attend this course you need to have previously woven a stake and strand basket. This course will include different techniques of willow weaving and basket making. To start you will learn how to create a large round base with hidden joins. Sarah will talk you through different types of weave so you can design the sides of your basket. Finally you will turn the side stakes down to be a beautiful border and then add twisted handles. You will go home with a beautiful log basket for your home which will last a lifetime.

This course is £160 payable by Stripe, Paypal, bank transfer or by cheque. The course will be held between 10:00am and 4:00pm over two days in Nantgarw China Works Museum, Cardiff.

All materials and tools are provided and you take home everything you make. Please bring any refreshments, snacks and a packed lunch with you.
