Two day weekend workshop working from a round base 21/22nd October 2023

NOW FULL This two day workshop is suitable for beginners and people wishing to develop their skills in willow basketmaking, and learning the traditional underfoot techniques for making a base.   Working from a round base participants choose what they would like to make, whether a medium size log basket, shopping, flower gathering or foraging basket…you can even make an oval basket from a round base. Baskets are available to inspire or people are supported to make an idea of their own. £170 for the two days material included Days run from 9am arrival for 9:30 start Please bring a packed lunch, coffee, teas biccies provided . Workshops held in West Sussex just south of Midhurst. A variety of basketmaking books are available to look through and time is given for chats around willow growing and elements of willow basketry.
