Weave Away Basketry Camp – Clare Revera Indoor and Outdoor Woven Back Chairs

We are very pleased to be offering you another chance to weave with the amazing Clare Revera. The high standard of Clare’s craftsmanship is nationally recognised  and her work is permanently exhibited at Crafts in the Bay. Clare specialises in designing and making high quality traditional and contemporary Welsh baskets, inspired by the colours and materials of the landscape around her.

On this course: Indoor and Outdoor Woven Back Chairs, suitable for all levels of ability. Learn how to upcycle, update and transform tired and tattered indoor chairs and chunky log seats for outdoors with a beautiful woven back. Weavers will be taught how to prepare chairs for weaving and a variety of weaves and styles to create beautiful and useful furniture to grace your house and garden. This residential Camp includes all home cooked food, tuition, camping space, set within gorgeous communal facilities, all by the sea. If you prefer a bit of luxury you can book one of our Shepherd’s  Huts, link on this page. Course arrival from 3pm on first day leave by 12noon on final day, allowing extra beach visits!
