Weave Away Basketry Camp

This is the first of what we hope will become an annual event – the residential Weave Away Camp at Bryn a Môr. This year, three fantastic teachers will be coming to Bryn a Môr to teach historical baskets and weaves with a sea theme.

– Clare Revera will be teaching the historic Llangwm Fisherwoman’s Backpack – Michelle Cain will be teaching the Withy Pot (Lobster Pot) – Sharron Taylor will be teaching rope weaving using scavenged fishing rope The camp includes:

– Two full days workshop learning to weave either the Backpack or the Withy Pot – A demonstration and talk about Withy Pot making and sustainable fishing, speaker tbc – Bonus workshop – Rope Weaving with Master Knotter Sharron Taylor, making coasters or bathmats – Fully catered vegan & veggie food using our own and local produce – Camping Space` – Shared yurt kitchen and eco shower and compost loo – Gorgeous communal Tipi – All set in 37 acres of our off grid farm
