Random Weave basket

Come and create a beautiful basket out of willow. This sculptural basket is fun to make using recently cut and buff willow. The starting point for a sculpture is the framework, followed by free weave technique. Jane Roberts will demonstrate step by step and help you throughout the process.

Willow is a good sustainable material used in making a variety of different objects including baskets and other sculptural shapes.

This workshop is designed for adults of any creative level and is the perfect way to spend time learning a new skill and meeting like-minded people. This workshop requires a degree of manual strength and dexterity.

At the end of the workshop, not only will you be able to take your newly created basket home, you may want to do more willow weaving in future!
