Basket Backpack

Spend two days in splendid Somerset learning to maker this ever popular wicker pack pack.

On day one you’ll make the base, create the structure of the back pack and start the weave. On day two you’ll finish the weaving, create a border and add straps and a handle.

We’ll use Somerset willow, grown just a few miles away. You’ll learn traditional basketry techniques, while creating your unique basket. All tools and material supplied.
