Harley Gallery’s Discover Art! – create a small tray / platter

The Harley Gallery’s Discover Art! monthly Saturday morning sessions are for children aged 7-11. In June, participants will work with expert basketmaker Rachel Hutton to create a small tray / platter based on traditional weaves.

The session accompanies the Basketry: Rescuing, Reviving, Retaining exhibition. The exhibition forms part of the continued work of the Basketmakers’ Association’s Traditional Basketry Project supported by the The Worshipful Company of Basketmakers and delivered in partnership with Heritage Crafts.
